Our Environmental Health team consists of two qualified Environmental Health Workers who work both within the local area and outlying communities to provide assistance in the areas of dog sterilization and euthanasia, rubbish and sanitation control, pest control, hygiene and minor plumbing works.
The team makes regular trips to Goldfields communities such as Mount Margaret, Cosmo Newberry, Leonora, Laverton, Coonana, Kurrawang, Ninga Mia and Tjuntjuntjarra, providing education and assistance as required. Our Environmental Health team speaks with school groups and promotes environmental health education at local community events. The team works closely with the City of Kalgoorlie/Boulder in all environmental health matters.
