The Administration Department, or ‘Admin’ as it is affectionately known, is the engine room of Bega. This is where all the behind-the-scenes activity occurs that allows Bega to deliver a range of professional clinical and social support services to our clients.
This is also where you will find our CEO, Wayne Johnson, as he tirelessly works to develop and manage relationships with more than 10 funding bodies and align Bega with the highest standards of Best Practice in health care. And Wayne is the first to admit that he could not do what he does without the support of his Executive Assistant Jodie De Pedro
Bega’s Chief Operations Officer, Clive Holt, is kept busy dealing with the day-to-day operational matters associated with delivering the many services provided by Bega. An integral part of his work revolves around Human Resources by ensuring that new staff are recruited in a timely manner to fill any vacancies and that employment contracts are compliant with the applicable Awards and Industrial Relations legislation. This role requires a high level of organisation and attention to detail for which Clive relies heavily on his Executive Assistant Dominca Kiraz to provide.
Underpinning the administration of Bega is the Corporate Services Team. Led by the Chief Financial Officer, Maree Connolly, the team’s duties include financial management, contract management, payroll, procurement, OSH and maintenance of Bega’s physical environment. As Bega expands into the future we are confident that the Corporate Services Team of Paula Hart, Marg Cusack and others will ensure that we continue to meet all of our financial, reporting and safety obligations.
As with any organisation, Information Technology and Data Management are critical to ongoing success and keeping pace with a rapidly changing world. Shaun Thomas and Nathan Hibbert are our in-house gurus when it comes to all things technical and ensuring that the Bega’s communication systems work effectively and our data is securely managed. He also keeps our web site and Intranet up to date with all the latest developments and events as well as looking after Communicare, our clinical software system.
